e-Panchayat
e-Panchayat is a Comprehensive suit
of Panchayat applications conceptualised designed and Developed by
National Informations Centre(NIC) Hyderbad to effectively solve the
information management problems at te gross root level. e-Panchayat
has been designed taking into consideration all the inforamtion and
knowledge management requirements of Gram Panchayat.
The government
has taken a decision to implement e-Panchayat (Electronic Knowledge
based Panchayats) at 24 Gram Panchayats in Nalgonda district. Major

Pochampally, and Nakrekal and appreciated the services of the project.
The District also won many e-Governance awards for the implementation of
this project.
PRAJAVANI
( An E-Governance Initiative
to Service the People Better )
Prajavani is an e-Governance and transparency
initiative by the combined efforts of District Administration and
National Informatics Centre, Nalgonda District Unit (AP, India) in
association with Web Services Division, NIC, Hyderabad, A.P. State
Center. The initiative is not only giving a practical shape to the Right
to Information Act, but is also creating job opportunities for the
educated but unemployed youth in Nalgonda District. Prajahita is a
unique Public Private Partnership and Non-Public Private Partnership
program, which gives citizens an opportunity to interact with the
District Administration without any problem.

S.A.M. Rizvi, IAS the present District Collector, Nalgonda is the first person who iniaited and operationalised the project in A.P. he is keen to launch the program in all the mandals shortly.

NATIONAL INFORMATICS CENTRE (NIC)
National
Informatics Center Under Ministry of Information Technology, Government
of India has established its Nalgonda Center during the year 1988. The
main objective of NIC District Computer Center is to provide Informatics
Services to the district administration. Two officers have been posted
to the district to support the activities. The District Informatics
Officer will be the in-charge of the District Center.
